We are steadily working on the house. All that's left is some tiling, grouting and the trim. Once the trim is up it needs to have the finish coat put on and boy do I have a story for you...
David came home one evening he said "I was at Bob's house today and the painter was hand brushing on the polyurethane on the doors so I quizzed him all about it. He said it only takes him a half and hour to finish each door. So I have decided this is how we are going to finish the doors for the house and it will only take YOU a week to do this."
That was about three weeks ago and needless to say the doors have yet to be finished. So, based on me getting the work done we will never move into the new house.
Mom and Dad were here for Thanksgiving. They did help me stain the doors and we ate well while Mom was working in the kitchen. We have become very tired of eating out all the time!
Michelle loved having Grandma and Grandpa help her feed the horses each morning and evening. Grandma even helped her measure Cherokee for a blanket, although she drew the line at actually sewing him one!
