Arctic Blast 2008

Some of the views around the ranch over the past couple of weeks. The last picture is what the back pasture looks like today (1/3/09). The snow is slowly melting. We had a big rain storm Jan 1st which created many mini floods. The forecast for next week is a lot of rain, hopefully not more flooding.

Christmas Eve

Church was cancelled this year due to the icy roads so we headed to the Kelly/Hunt house early for gumbo and clam chowder. The power went out five minutes after we got there... so present opening by candle light it was. We are thankful to have friends like them.
