The joke was on Hillsboro when the Varsity Softball team made an amazing comeback during their game April 1st. The score was 0-7 going into the 6th inning St Helens scored two before the door was shut on them. In the 7th inning all nine batters for St H had their at bat. Susannah was up with two outs and two runs away from winning the game. She pounded the ball scoring two girls ending the game. She was quoted in The Chronicle "I just hit it, and I ran to first, then I saw that we won the game, so I just kept running and I was so excited. I'm still pretty jazzed right now."
The Chronicle is not yet online but there is an article in The Spotlight. spotlightnews.net and it's in the sports section under STUNNER: Lady Lions stage improbable comeback. (I can't get the link to work correctly.)
