St Helens Pre-Season Softball

Susannah had a great pre-season her freshman year playing Varsity softball for St Helens High School. She pitched in the first three of four games. The first game she pitched four innings and got 4 K's, the second game five innings and 5 K's. I can't remember the third game - she pitched two and one-half innings at the end of the game. I also don't remember all her hitting stats but she did hit at least two doubles and one or two triples plus a few singles. She was walked and got hit by a pitch to get on base also. She was very upset about the hit - she tried to get out of the way because she wanted to HIT THE BALL!
Defensively, she is pitching and has played at second and third bases and some short stop. The last game she played the three fielding positions in five innings and did a nice job at each position. Offensively, she is currently the lead off hitter.
This week conference play begins with a games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday as long as they don't get rained out. Spring ball in the Northwest is sometimes difficult to get games in.
