Grandma's Schoolhouse

The main reason I wanted to visit Knott's Berry Farm was to see Grandma Walker's school house which was moved to California from Beloit, KS in 1952. It was just as I remembered from my walk through with my grandma many years ago. The only difference being the carved initials in the desks have worn away. The host of the schoolhouse let me know there were preserved initials under the chalkboards mounted on the desks. I makes my heart happy to share this with my children.
