Life's been crazy the past few weeks. We have been busy with softball games, baseball games, the girl's dance recital, softball tournament, and the end of school (which is today). We're even fitting a little horse riding, but definately not enough for me.
As for the house, we have about a day each of finishing up the electrical, plumbing and heating then we will be turning it over to the insulators and the drywallers. During that time maybe we'll finish up the shop and start on the siding. Oh yeah, we also need to get our other house up for sale. David wants to sleep in his own bed for as long as possible so he's dragging his feet around here. I need to get the driveway weeds and grass killed but there has not been enough dry days to get that completed.
Michelle's birthday was last Sunday. We formed a partnership with her to purchase Cherokee as her gift(the pony in one of the previous pictures). I think we got the better end of the horse. Our duties are to provide food and shelter. Hers are to train, groom and take care of him. (She gets to scoop poop!) Aunt Kerrie has suggested we sell horse poo like she saw it being marketed in New Zeland.
Happy Summer...
